As my time on "Stories" draws to a close (next week is my last show) I find myself reflecting back through what an incredible time I have had in the Hawaii music scene. I have played in folk, noise, indie-pop and electro groups. I have been very lucky to have been a part of this scene. I can say without a doubt that Honolulu's music scene is more suppportive, welcoming, and community-based than any other that I've known. People are influenced by music that never gets played on the mainland, and this makes music here incredibly unique.
